Fire compartmentation is the process of sectioning a building off into smaller contained units. Each section will be secured with passive fire-resistant materials and fire safety doors to limit the spread of fire.
What is the 45-degree rule for fire safety?
The 45-degree rule is about the placement of fire exists and how easy they are to access. As a rule, if two exits cannot be included within a 45-degree angle then they are well separated.
How long do remedial works take?
